Overview
The DIFC Courts operate under their own rules and procedures, in English, alongside the onshore UAE courts. Where your contract, your counterparty or the dispute falls within their jurisdiction, we prepare and run the case from the first assessment to judgment and enforcement.
Our team handles matters before the Small Claims Tribunal and the Court of First Instance, working with experienced advocates for hearings where the rules require it.
How we help
Jurisdiction and strategy
We confirm whether the DIFC Courts have jurisdiction, and whether they are the right forum for your claim, before costs are incurred.
Small Claims Tribunal
We prepare SCT claims and defences, including the consultation stage, for lower-value commercial and employment disputes.
Court of First Instance
We prepare the claim form, particulars, evidence and case management steps required under the Rules of the DIFC Courts.
Enforcement onshore
A DIFC judgment to be enforced outside the DIFC must be final, translated into Arabic and certified for execution. We manage that process with the Dubai Courts execution judge.
Before we talk
